Certifications: Certified Paraoptometric, Certified Optometric Administrator. Joined the practice in 2009. Where are you from?  I was born at the United States Air Force Academy and raised in Colorado Springs. What is your favorite thing about working in eye care? I love helping people maintain their vision, and creating relationships with others. A great story of how I helped a patient:  I had a patient call who was experiencing spider webs and flashing lights with her vision.  She sounded very anxious on the phone, and I told her to head straight down and we saw her within the hour. I helped her with insurance and referral paperwork and got her an appointment with a specialist. She was in tears and very scared, but I tried my best to calm her down. She ended up calling me a week later to thank me for my reassuring and comforting attitude.
